One cannot deny the influence of teachers in one’s life. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that, till a certain age,
our life revolves around our teachers. They are responsible in molding the student’s personality and shaping his/her mental
orientation. Like our parents, they are our constant companions, until we grow old enough to come out of their shadow
and move ahead on our own. When we embark our education trip, we come across different types of teachers. Some are
strict, some are friendly, and some are those who we consider to be our role models. We also dislike a few, who fail to
impress us positively. We even classify out teachers into different categories. We classify them as Friendly Teachers,
Perfectionist Teachers, Funny Teachers, Strict Teachers, Ideal Teacher and Lenient Teachers. All these classification for
teachers are based on some typical personality traits of the teachers. Here are some details of these types of Teachers.
The Friendly Teacher
These are the Teachers who act as a friend to every student. They are willing to help and guide them through out their
education trip. They are the ones who understand what their students need, try their best to reach out to them and make
students feel that they are still at home though in fact they are in school. We all, at some point of time, aspire for a friendly
teacher.
The Perfectionist Teacher
These are teachers want to see perfection in everything that he/ she do. Somehow this attitude of a teacher is hard for the
students to cope up to. Having a perfectionist teacher in class makes the student uncomfortable. We all know that teachers
are the second parents of children. Just imagine the life of a child who has parents who are into perfection and is asking too
much from their child. Isn’t hard?
The Funny Teacher
These teachers are like a God- sent to their students. Such a teacher always wants to see their students smile and make
learning a pleasurable experience. People might think that they are clumsy, but actually they are not. Rather, they are witty
and bring in humor in the most subtle form.
The Strict Teacher
These teachers are very tough on students. He/ she always insist on adhering to the deadlines. Such teachers dislike any
mistakes or carelessness on the part of the student. Students have to be extra cautious under such a teacher. He/ she is like
a disciplinarian, always keeping students on their toes.
The Ideal Teacher
These teachers are the ones we respect from our heart. He/ she acts as a guide to the students, while not punishing too
much. They motivate and boost their students’ morale. He/ she try to encourage their students and refrains from criticizing
them.
The Lenient Teacher
These teachers are easygoing and take things as they come. They are not overly finicky about things, such as doing
homework on time or not sitting quietly in the class, etc. Such teachers very well realize that being strict with a child can
only make him/her withdrawn. However, this does not mean that one can do anything in the class of a pampering teacher.
No matter what kind of teacher we have, we can’t deny that in our hearts they are a blessing to us. Teachers are the second
parents of students, and as we grow older and matured, we realize that everything that our teachers do, the reason behind
that is that they love us.
